Born and raised Mennonite, Anthony grew up in a world shaped by simplicity, community, and a deep reverence for nature. That influence instilled in him a love for nature and all things natural.
With no television growing up, table games and reading were the entertainment — nights spent gathered around handmade boards, learning strategy and savoring the beauty of carved wood pieces passed down through generations.
Under the guidance of great shop teachers at a small Christian high school, Anthony developed a love and skill for fine woodworking that would become his life's calling.
